All classes and wellness programs are designed to help students become more in tune with their mind-body connection and to discover a sense of being at ease with themselves and the world around them. Classes are designed to cultivate and validate each student’s self-awareness through careful guidance and inquiry. Students are encouraged to meet themselves where they are in each moment and to utilize techniques and supports to address their own varying physical and emotional needs.

Through the person-centered principles of empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard, Jessica aims to create a trusting, therapeutic environment and to help others in their own exploration of personal growth and well-being. She teaches the skills of non-judgment, interoception (internal body sensing, including physiological expressions of emotions), present moment awareness, compassion, and mindfulness to help others recognize and connect with the resources they have within and around them to feel more empowered, content, and purposeful in their everyday lives.

Jessica is a trauma-informed Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical in the state of Maryland, level-1 trained teacher in the delivery of iRest® Yoga Nidra, and registered 200-hour Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. She currently practices mental health therapy at Seaside Counseling & Wellness Center and teaches Yoga Nidra at Zenna Wellness Studio in Berlin. She offers private individual and group yoga and meditation classes, restorative retreats, and designs personal and workplace wellness programs for residents and visitors of the Eastern Shore.
